The Challenge
Oregon didn’t need another campaign telling students to attend basketball games. We needed to make basketball feel like part of Eugene’s culture.
Our strategy was to bring the energy, personality, and community surrounding Oregon Men’s Basketball off the court and into the city, using a mix of out-of-home, social, player-driven content, and experiential touchpoints to make the team impossible to miss.

My Role
I stepped into the Oregon Men’s Basketball account after its original account manager left, taking on the client relationship while also serving as AHA’s Director of Account Management. I managed day-to-day communication, helped shape strategy, and coordinated our cross-functional team to bring the campaign from concept to execution.
I also worked closely with our media planner on the campaign’s more complex logistics, advising on billboard placements, media buying payments, and the local government permitting process for our street pole banners. My role extended beyond the creative itself, helping ensure our ideas could actually make it into the real world.
Balancing the account alongside my leadership responsibilities at AHA taught me how to manage competing priorities while keeping the bigger picture in focus. More importantly, it showed me how strong account management can create the space for great creative work to happen.
